2024 Olympic breaking watch party

Join us to celebrate and support Team USA as breakdancing officially enters the Olympics in Paris on Friday, August 9th at the South Vallejo Arts & Cultural Complex! The Women's Competition begins at 7AM.

7:00am - 9:10am > Women's Qualifiers

11am - 1pm > Women's Finals

 The Olympic Breaking broadcast will be live streamed on a large projection screen at the Complex with provided tables and chairs. After the medal ceremony, the complex will be open to children of all ages with breaking mats and bboys that will be helping the kids train. There will also be graffiti art activities for kids. A DJ will also be spinning breakbeats after the award ceremony and between competition sets.

 This free event will be hosted by Izzy Drumgoole and Gene Buban - Teaching Artists in Vallejo teaching World Music Hip-Hop to introduce elementary and middle school students the four elements, including emceeing, DJing, graffiti art, and breakdancing.
