Background:

Throughout 2022 Onepeopletribe.org (OPT) implemented a pilot program called MIND GARDEN MURAL ARTS TRAINING PROGRAM (funded by the CA Arts Council) for Vallejo youth and young adults designed to teach them mural making fundamentals that they can use for a lifetime!

OPT has successfully completed 6 teaching murals over the last 1 1/2 years around the city of Vallejo. Our current MIND GARDEN mural training is taking place at the Boys and Girls Empowerment Group located in the Kings Market Shopping Center. This current training started on MLK Day of Service and we turned it into a full month of service! We are inviting the community to come out and see the beautiful works of art created by the youth muralists in training. They have painted local and national portraits of Black Dreams Realized!!
